Teacher Heaven and 1211 Studios are pleased to offer you the Shining STAAR Poster Series. These practical posters incorporate tons of clever tips and tricks to help students master the Texas STAAR standardized tests. Using mnemonics, strategies, basic rules and examples, these charts have the tools every classroom needs to succeed!

 

The Shining STAAR Poster Series is a collaborative effort between a Texas elementary school teacher of 14 years (2014 Teacher of the Year for both her campus and district), and her sister, a professional graphic designer. All teaching standards were taken directly from the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, as published by the Texas Education Agency Student Assessment Division, and have been updated for the 2014-2015 school year in accordance with the TEKS published in July 2014.

 

These posters have been created specifically to teach the Texas STAAR Reading, Math, Writing and Science Readiness Standards for grades 3-5. We are currently producing more charts and working on other grade levels and subjects. Our posters are also available in Spanish.
